next week we are going to have  NEW  crown in the shop!  our purple posie crown has been a favorite this year but recently someone ordered a custom crown in pink with posies. we adore the results and have decided to offer it in the shop!

what a busy week for girl birthday crowns, we love seeing all the pinks and pistachio greens, purples and teal blues all heaped together and ready for send off!

we are really looking forward to listing our new crowns, complete with the new ribbon we have been raving about!
AND to top it off our most favorite photographer, karen kline, of pretty simple productions has taken up the task of doing a whole photo shoot for us of the new merchandise. we adore karen's take on the world and wish we could see everything through her eyes with clear light and soft fuzzy edges!
karen photographed my wedding, you can see a bit here on etsy weddings and she just has such a way with the lens!

new ribbon round up!

we just received our massive ribbon order and we are overflowing with beautiful ribbon spools.
here is a sneak peak of what we got and we will be posting some new crowns in july that will sport these lovely ribbons!

this week we had a very special order, tulips! and as you can see the special little girl's name was holland--i had visions of fields of tulips! here are the results, very much an expression of the vision the mama had for her little girl-- hope they love how it turned out as much as i do!

special crown for a blooming girl

I have just realllly loved making these specialized crowns, as of late. which started with this dear boy and have been blossoming ever since. i find it a real treat to craft these crowns thinking of the child in my mind and what festivities will ensue for his or her birthday celebration...
this newest incarnation was made with one little *iris* girl in mind, full of lavender and purple hues and ready for a celebration of this dear little life!
